Argentina TV Privacy Policy

Argentina TV (the "App", package com.utilityhub.tvargentina) is built and operated by UtilityHub (the "Operator", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App and the third parties it integrates with collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. 

1. Information collected directly by the App

The App itself collects only the minimum information needed to play live TV channels and remember your preferences:

  • Favorites and recently-watched channels — stored on your device only, never transmitted off-device.
  • Display, theme and player preferences (dark mode, grid/list view, portrait/landscape) — stored on your device only.
  • Approximate request metadata (your IP address, the time of the request, and the App version) — when the App contacts our configuration API for the channel list and ad settings. Stored in server logs for security and abuse-prevention only, retained no longer than 30 days.

The App does not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.

2. Advertising — CAS.ai mediation

The App is monetized through advertising. We use CleverAdsSolutions (CAS.ai) as our mediation provider; CAS.ai in turn calls a number of certified third-party advertising networks and returns the highest-bidding ad to the App. CAS.ai and its networks may collect and process data from your device for ad selection and measurement, including:

  • Your Google Advertising ID (AAID) — a resettable, non-permanent advertising identifier.
  • Your IP address (used for coarse country-level geo).
  • Device information: model, OS version, screen size, language, timezone, free storage, mobile carrier (where exposed).
  • Ad-interaction data: which ads were shown, which were clicked, video completion events, eCPM and revenue at the impression level.

2.1 Networks mediated by CAS.ai inside this App

The following networks may serve ads through CAS.ai. Each link points to the network's own privacy policy, which applies independently of ours when the network is the bidder for a given impression.

3. Push notifications and analytics

  • OneSignal — used to deliver push notifications when we publish a new channel or service announcement. OneSignal collects a device-level subscription token and the language/timezone you signed up with. Privacy policy: onesignal.com/privacy_policy.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — the underlying delivery channel for OneSignal pushes; processes the same subscription token. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Firebase Analytics (Google) — collects aggregated, non-identifying usage events (screen views, sessions, retention) to help us understand which channels are popular. Configured to retain events for 14 months. Privacy policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

4. Your choices and controls

4.1 GDPR / CCPA / LGPD / PIPEDA consent

The first time the App is opened in a regulated region — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, California, Brazil and Canada — the App displays a CAS.ai-managed consent form. You can accept, refuse, or manage individual purposes and vendors. You can re-open the form at any time later from Settings → Manage Consent inside the App.

4.2 Reset or limit your advertising ID

You can reset or delete your Google Advertising ID at any time from Android Settings → Google → Ads. After reset, advertising identifiers received by CAS.ai and its networks for further sessions will not be linkable to those received before.

4.3 Right to know, access, correct or delete

You have the right under applicable law (notably GDPR Art. 15–17, the California CCPA, and Brazil's LGPD) to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask for its deletion. Send your request to the email address in section 7 below.

5. Children

The App is rated for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires a higher threshold). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the App and provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Data retention and security

The App stores no personal data on the operator side beyond the request logs noted in Section 1, which are retained no longer than 30 days. Each third-party processor listed above retains the data it receives according to its own published retention schedule. We use HTTPS for every network call.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when we add or remove an integrated service. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this section; if the change is significant we will also surface a notice inside the App on first launch following the change.
